Crescent Sausage Roll-Ups Casserole

Start by rolling salty Bob Evans® sausage links up in buttery crescent rolls. Then, you boil the crescent roll ups in a sugary sweet liquid, douse it in Mountain Dew® and dust it with powdered sugar. Ingredients

  • 12 Ounces Bob Evans Original Pork Sausage Links
  • 8 Ounces refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1⁄2 Cup butter
  • 1 Cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 Teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 12 Ounces Mountain Dew® soda
  • 1⁄4 Cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375F.
  2. Unroll crescent roll dough and separate dough into triangles.
  3. Place one Bob Evans® sausage link over the wide part of each crescent triangle.
  4. Roll up crescents according to package directions, and place in a lightly greased 13- x 9-inch baking dish.
  5. Combine butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a small saucepan.
  6. Bring to a boil, stirring until sugar is dissolved; remove from heat, and stir in vanilla.
  7. Stir in soda, and pour mixture over pastry-wrapped sausages.
  8. Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Dust with powdered sugar.
  10. Serve and enjoy!
