Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Bob Evans Fully Cooked Ham Steaks, 2 Pack
  • 2 1⁄4 Cups all purpose flour
  • 2 Tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon baking powder
  • 1⁄2 Teaspoon baking soda
  • 1⁄2 Teaspoon salt
  • 5 Tablespoon cold butter cubed
  • 2 Ounces cream cheese cubed
  • 1 Cup shredded Irish Cheddar cheese
  • 2 Tablespoon minced fresh chives divided
  • 3⁄4 Cup plus 1 Tbsp heavy cream divided
  • 1 Large egg
  • 1⁄2 Cup butter softened
  • 1 Tablespoon minced fresh thyme
  • 1 Clove garlic minced

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Whisk together flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Cut in cold butter and cream cheese using a pastry blender, until mixture is crumbly.
  4. Stir in shredded cheese, ham, and 1 Tbsp chives.
  5. Whisk together 3⁄4 cup cream and egg; add to flour mixture, stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened.
  6. Turn out dough onto a lightly floured surface; pat into a 10-inch round.
  7. Transfer round to a lightly greased baking sheet and cut into 8 wedges (don't separate wedges).
  8. Brush all over with remaining 1 Tbsp cream.
  9. Bake 18 to 22 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on pan 15 minutes.
  10. Cut round into wedges again.
  11. Meanwhile, stir together softened butter, thyme, garlic, and 1 Tbsp chives in a small bowl.
  12. Serve as warm scones and enjoy!
