Brown Butter Sage Gnocchi
Ingredients
- 1 Package Bob Evans Garlic Mashed Potatoes Single Serve
- 1 - 1 1/2 Cups flour
- 1 egg lightly beaten
- 1/2 Teaspoon salt
- 8 Tablespoons butter
- 18 sage leaves
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese grated

- Bring large pot of salted water to a boil. Meanwhile, in a large bowl, mix potatoes, flour, egg and salt.
- Stir until well combined, adding more flour is too sticky.
- Divide dough into 4 parts, flour board.
- Roll each into a 3/4-inch rope and cut each rope into 1-inch pieces (if desired, roll each piece on the back of a fork to make ridges).
- In 2 batches, boil gnocchi 2 minutes or until pasta floats. Drain well and add to serving bowl.
- For sauce, melt butter over medium heat until light golden brown.
- Add sage and heat for 1 minute.
- Add parmesan to serving bowl and add butter sauce.
- Gently toss before serving (can also be served with a tomato pasta sauce).
