Sausage and Pepper Sliders
These sausage and pepper sliders made with our Original Bob Evans Pork Sausage is a combo you don't want to miss!
Ingredients
- 1 Package Owens Original Pork Sausage Patties
- 1 Teaspoon oil
- 1/2 Cup red pepper sliced
- 1/2 Cup green pepper sliced
- 1/2 Cup onion sliced
- 1/2 Teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 8 slider buns
- 4 Slices provolone cheese cut in half
- 2 Tablespoons butter melted

- Preheat oven to 350 F. Spray 9” square baking dish with nonstick spray.
- In large skillet over medium heat, cook patties, turning occasionally until brown and cooked through.
- Remove from skillet. Add oil to skillet and cook peppers and onions until tender, about 5 minutes. Stir in Italian seasoning.
- Place bottom bun halves into baking dish. Top each with a patty. Evenly divide vegetables over patties. Top each with a half cheese slice. Top with bun tops. Brush with melted butter.
- Cover dish with foil and bake 15 minutes. Uncover and bake for 5 to 7 minutes or until cheese is melted.
